Yesterday I saw a documentry on TV showing the peaceful living of the Palestinians and Jewish settelers in the West Bank.
Palestinians are given vidoe cameras to record the atrocities done by jewish settlers, Army and police to protect themselves by making the issues public.
One video clip shooted by a palestinian was showing a palestinian young man standing next to a Israeli Army Jeep, hands handcuffed behind his back, blinfolded and surrounded by a group of Israeli soldiers, one of them aiming him with his M-16 from a <5m range. The soldier suddenly fired a shot, to the left leg of the detainee.
...the video reached the Army, and the Army Spokeswomen interviewed in the document said...'there has been a misunderstanding between the Commanding Officer of the Unit and the soldier in question'...she continued...'the actions taken are against our morale and code of conduct, we dont shoot palestinians from such a close range'
Hello!! So you admit shooting palestinians from a longer range and that is your code of conduct?? Longer range like 10 meters?
